I think that the process of formulating a new product to manufacture and sell a new product can never be initiated without innovation or without systems thinking. This is because there has to be a thinking or consideration of a macro-level by an individual to understand the overall dynamics of the target market situation and the new product acceptability ratio/percentage by the global customers. Therefore, a linear thinking approach will never suffice because of the limitations of only observing the entire situation from the micro-level view.
